Before and after. Sometimes we need small wins…

I added a drawer to my #hondaelement #microcamper shelf. This is the very simple lock to keep the drawer from sliding out while driving. It doesn’t even need the compliant hook features, since the pivot screw can provide enough friction. There’s room to optimize the shape for sure, but if we’re being honest, I’ll probably end up using this 5 min prototype forever… ☺️ #lasercut

In the 6 years that I’ve had my #hondaelement I’ve had the rear seats out like 98% of the time. This week we went camping with 4 people, so we brought the seats along of course. Turns out they make super comfy camp chairs!

Haven’t posted in forever. In recent months I quit a job, traveled a bit, got covid, and started a new job. Just starting to find balance again.

We are gearing up for some camping and backpacking with the dog this year. Her sleeping bag is one of the most satisfying projects I’ve done in a while. Started with a used kid sized sleeping bag, turned it inside out, sew, cut, edge bind. Enough left over for a little travel mat, too. @maki.doggy had her first night in it, and seems to approve!
