My favorite place for parts is Excess Solutions in San Jose. The inventories of all the now-defunct electronics surplus stores in the Bay Area all ended up here. It’s pretty well organized, and I’ll bet you that you’ll find anything electronics related that you’d ever think to look for.

Amy, I found your design and planned to make it myself, but lacked space to build. It led me to search for other designs like yours and I found (independently) the trunk bunk folks.
